The practice is headed by Michael, the principal and practice owner. Following periods of work in private practices in Belfast and Armagh, Michael returned to Mourne to open the Gentle Dental Clinic in 2008. Michael has a special interest in veneer, crown, bridgework and cosmetic dentistry. He is one of the first to introduce Six Month Smiles cosmetic braces and the Inman Aligner to Ireland along with Clear Step invisible braces. Michael was also appointed as a dental trainer in 2008 and is currently studying for his diploma in implant dentistry.

A graduate of The Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. Offering many years experience, Ian set up the original practice some 35 years ago is the former principal has a special interest in crowns, bridgework and prosthetic.

A graduate from Queens University, Belfast, Doreen has previously worked in practice in Newcastle and kilkeel before joining gentle dental she takes a special interest in pediatric dentistry.

Cathy our Hygienist is a graduate from QUB, she is extremely enthusiastic about her role in the care of our clients, drawing great satisfaction from tailoring oral health programmes to suit each individual's particular needs. She plays a vital role in the dental health and maintenance of all our patients.
Deborah Kelland

The large team of registered dental nurses and receptionists are headed by Deborah. Her experience and commitment to dentistry is highly valued within the practice. As Head Nurse she is responsible for maintaining the clinical standards of the practice and nursing staff, overseeing our strict cross-contamination control procedures and each client's care within the surgery. The client visiting with us is her priority, and her relaxed and friendly manner is always appreciated.

A graduate of Queens University Belfast, Eamon is the newest addition to our team at Gentle Dental. Eamon is very keen to further his studies and has become a certified Inman Aligner provider as a result. He has a special interest in dental aesthetics and crown and bridgework.

A graduate of Queens University Belfast, Conor has joined the team at Gentle Dental following experience in General Practice in Edinburgh and as a Senior House Officer in Surgical and Restorative Dentistry in the School of Dentistry, Belfast. During this time he completed postgraduate examinations and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He has a special interest in Dental Aesthetics, extensive Crown and Bridgework, Endodontic and Surgical Dentistry.
